UK won't offer because he would stay for more than one year? :)

Lafayette star Jackson Davis has now received offers from Florida State and UCF, his mother tells the Herald-Leader.
    Moses ‏@TheRealQohelet 3h
@NextCats does he have a UK offer or are the coaches still evaluating him
    Ben Roberts ‏@NextCats 3h
@TheRealQohelet He has not had any contact with Kentucky yet.

Cal's probably done with 14 unless Myles Turner does a 180.

So how does the recruiting process work like last night? BMill asked to speak to him after the game. How long does he get to talk w/ all the other coaches waiting in line? Does BMill ask for his cell # so he can text him. Does he tell him if you pick us you can play right away? I juts would like to know how that stuff usually works.

This will help to give you an idea of the contact periods, dead periods and how a HC can communicate with a recruit. Right now is an active recruiting period where a HC can visit the recruits school once a week. Unlimited text. IMO Butler and other schools have been keeping in contact with Davis throughout this basketball season. He never signed his LOI in Nov with Rice.

Jackson Davis finished with 28 points on 5-for-8 shooting and 12 rebounds.

    -----------

I just saw this tweet from Evan. This is the Tues game where Stallings was there and offered. Davis scored 28 pts on only 5 field goals. He isn't a three point shooter so that means he MADE 18 free throws in that game. After some of the FT struggles we have witnessed this year, having a BIG that can knock down FTs would be NICE.

Not alot of video of Davis, but shows off some of his versatility on offense. Reports out of Kentucky this winter have been that he has improved his offensive game immensely. He drains a long J here and takes the ball on a dribble drive to the hoop for a bucket. Davis is #13 in white.

Note: That was last nights game that BMill was at....

Gotta believe that Vonleh is as good as gone. I would be too if I was him. Run away from that program as fast as possible.

Not sure if he deserves it as of now, but obviously NBA Draft is all about potential. I do think he has the potential to be pretty good.
