    Jair Bolden could be a good fit for us. IE 6'3 guard from South Carolina. Averaged 9, 2, and 2 in the SEC on 21 mpg. 41% from 3. Had 22 against Virginia and 19 against A&M.

    Was heavily utilized in his 2017-2018 season for George Washington, but sat out 2018-2019 when he transferred to SC.

    Gotta like that he can hit a clutch shot too:

    I would count it and I'd sure be happy to. I think he'd be a really good fit for what we need.

    I believe Holt trademarked the A-10 all star concept. We'll probably need to have him sign a waiver or something if this gets serious.

  5. Jair Bolden is exactly what we need. Immediately eligible, 41% from 3 last year in a power 6 conference. Go get him LaVall.

    He’s also following Jeff Meyer. From what I could tell Jeff Meyer is the only college coach that Bolden is following that isn’t from South Carolina’s staff. Might have missed a guy or two but I don’t think I did lol.

    I like Bolden. Watched him some in sec games, and he's good. He's not real flashy nor will be an automatic cure to what ills right now, but he'd be a solid addition if there is any traction there. And good guard size. Playing in the sec is no joke, he could slide into the two until Tate is ready for sure.

    I had a feeling this might happen after seeing he wasn’t following any other schools coaches on twitter besides Butler and South Carolina. Glad he chose Butler.

    That's awesome! Glad to have Jair on the team. He was definitely one of my top wants.

    Really like that he’s a grad transfer with immediate eligibility. The GW connection is kind of cool too.

    Guys, I have an article ready to go on this (and will hopefully be adding quotes from Jair later) but Busting Brackets is currently down for maintenance so I have to wait to get the piece up - frustrating but it is what it is.

    I like his size and shooting, as well as the Martin pedigree/experience. HOnestly, I hope we go for another transfer too pair with Bolden. Ideally another 2-3. Kier, Ozier, or McCauley would all be fine. I don't see much of a need for Udeze.

    ->.412 3 point shooter
    -> 22 point game against #9 Virginia last year (who's historically great on defense)

    Kid can hoop a bit offensively. South Carolina fans seem to think his defense is inconsistent though:

    Good pick up. Hope Willis is OK with this.
