His body is d-1 ready. I like the bulk there, 230 and still just now a hs senior. He'll get even stronger.

He has a good frame, and one where you can add more muscle. I think about the body transformation Johnson did for Golden...I'd be excited to see what he could do for Coles.

Looks like Tyler Wideman with a decent mid range jump shot.

Yeah, that would definitely work for me.

Would he pair well with Johnson or does this look more like an either/or situation?

JMO, but I think they'd be fine together. Whether that's a small ball look with Johnson at the 4 or where I think he'll mostly play at the next level, at the 3. I don't think their games would be redundant...especially if Johnson keeps working on running some point like he did this summer for the family.

I absolutely think they could play well together and each do their jobs a little differently. We might actually outrebound people if we got Scooby and Coles on the court at the same time.

IMO comparing Johnson and Coles is like comparing Kelan Martin and Tyler Wideman. You might find them both listed as power forwards, but they don't play the same position. I absolutely want Johnson even if Coles would commit first.

Terrance Williams to Georgetown may complicate things. Notre Dame may turn is attention to Coles.

Coles' final six are being released tonight. (I'll likely write an article on this - I do with a lot of list cuts not related to Butler as well)

    Deadbolt prediction:

Houston, A&M, TCU, ND, Minnesota, Butler (no order just names)

I'd say this is a pretty good night for our program. Made two super huge cuts. If we can land one, happy. Both? Amazing.

This is there to finish, we need to finish this one. A shot at a top 130ish PF that can come right in and do damage. It's there to be had. I'm excited...not sure where the rest are but this would be such a powerful get with many future positive repercussions if he were to ink with us. Arguably our most important player in play for us.

Minnesota, TCU and Butler are probably the front runners here. I would love to hear why Brian snow picked Butler. Got to be something...

Agreed. I'd love to know what little nugget of info he's sitting on and if it's got meat on the bone. Especially with two Texas power schools in the mix. Why us?

Any idea on when he wants to pick a school?
