Looks like we should pull this from the archives...
For everyone's clarification, he is referring to this:
"Jamir Moultrie names final 7: La Salle, Monmouth, Rhode Island, Georgia, Butler, Murray State and Arkansas State"
His lack of quality offers makes me extremely skeptical about his talent. I trust the staff, but there are certainly other point guards that I would much rather have than Moultrie. If the staff really wants him, we shouldn't have a problem beating out the others on that list.
I agree Snoop. Looks like a nice kid who's had a tough time growing up and with the guidance of his dad and coaches has trained himself to be in the position he is in now so I like that about him. The one thing that gives me pause is that his overall stats don't seem earth-shattering. When I look at someone like Gerald Butler- his stats absolutely jump off the page, and you ask why is he not getting attention from Florida schools; well, it turns out Florida is totally talent rich and Butler was like the 20th ranked player in his state! So he has a reason to be under recruited, but I don't think Moultrie does as he is one of the higher rated players out of the DMV, but with below average stats compared to other high major recruits from a guy who has been working on his game since he was 6 years old. But like you said, I trust Holt and I'm no expert.
Nothing wrong with having a backup plan for barcello/Bede.
