Will be interesting to see how his career shakes out. Has some talent but clearly not enough for major minutes at the major level. Volume shooter who takes bad shots. A decent slasher who should have done more of that. He was essentially forced (or forced himself) into a role at Butler he isn't good enough for. Something like 8 PPG with 35% from the field seems about right. Not a "team" player. So glad to not have to watch him botch the last minute of first halves anymore with his horrible basketball IQ.
I disagree. He’ll definitely take a lot of shots and score a lot of points, make some posts on social media that he thinks are cool, and collect a lot of attention. But will he contribute to winning? Nah.
Not making any excuses for Taylor but he didn't exactly have an over abundance of role models with leadership to follow. Blaming a freshman or sophomore for not taking ownership...Really? Very few players have leadership skills in their DNA.
