Watched him play against New Albany and Romeo Langford at New Albany. Was very impressed. Moves very well for his size and plays hard. Also showed a few very good post moves.

I was there. Kid showed potential. Good size, plays hard, and has good post moves. He isn't overly athletic, he has a lot of physical developing to do, and he has no idea how to play D. In that game he has 3 fouls before half. He needs to get his hands up.

 

Saw him play NC and saw him at the Butler game. I was very confused to why he was sitting in the recruiting seats as I thought he was a senior this year. Boy was I wrong. He has good post moves but his rebounding was dreadful. Maybe because he is skin and bones and I saw him play against a tough NC team though.

 

Goes to Carmel High School, my high school. He's definitely tall and has good fundamentals, just needs to buff up a bit. On the plus side he's only a sophomore and has a lot of improvement ahead of him.

Also appealing is the fact he is a great student.

 

Just from his twitter I can see he had a "great time" at ND, IU and XU. Also had an "awesome time" at BU, Purdue and Illinois.

Not a strong night for JMM in a 3OT game against Lawrence North. He fouled out and wasn't much of a force on the offensive end. He only scored 6. Definitely could add some weight.

Offer from Miami of Ohio. Wonder if the new staff will pursue or not. I hope they will at least contact him. Will go see him play this year. Maybe he gained some weight this summer.

 

He will be visiting Butler and Syracuse next week.

Believe I saw him today during select a seat time sitting behind basket with Jeff Meyer while Brunk and Fowler were doing individual work on separate ends of the floor

 

Still don't know if he is Big East Caliber. I don't think we will be able to tell for another year either.
