Awesome thanks for the reply and info!
"Most schools" stop. Xavier continued recruiting Blueitt after he verballed to UCLA. It just gets quiet because the kids aren't going to keep promoting those things after they have declared.
Yeah, but Xavier is the guy at the bar who will hit on a married woman and try to take her home...they are that special kind of sleaze.
Great to see JMM at the game last night and looking forward to Carmel game highlights.
Actually many schools continue to recruit players who have verbally committed. It's common and legal until they have signed, but unethical IMO.
I saw a video of the team in the usual circle singing the Butler War song they sing after every win. There was a big white kid that was in the circle ( 6' 8"" or bigger) in street clothes singing right a long. Could this have been Mulloy? Or was it someone else?
3 seconds into the video and yep that's Mulloy. That's awesome.
Here is a clip on Mulloy from this morning. Indystar-super-team
That is complete buy in! Thanks for confirming. I'm as excited to have this kid as anyone we have recruited in a long time.
He was in the locker room after the Furman game singing the War song with the team.
Rick Lewis said this today : " Mulloy is just scratching the surface on his long range potential. Highly skilled PFwith excellent court vision and soft shooting touch"
FWIW, JMM could possibly arrive at BU as the highest rated recruit ever?
I have no idea whether/how much it'll change over the next year because I haven't seen him play, but his 247 composite rank is currently 181.
I only seen him for a 2nd half of a sectional game but he sank some crucial free throws down the stretch and moved pretty well. I'm guessing his stock rises.
Unfortunately he won’t drive clicks for the recruiting sites given his early commitment, so I would doubt there’s a whole lot of movement, even it warranted.
I’m sure every other committed recruit, hell even uncommitted ones, does it too when invited to the locker room. It would be more noteworthy if they didn’t.

If that's true it's further truth that the rating system is bogus. BU's success is proof of that. While I knew BU was interested in him, but I actually went to watch another player. He was hard not to notice and I honestly thought he may have been beyond BU's reach at that time.
Two recruits for the price of one tonight as Carmel opens at Zionsville tonight.
Of course it’s true. Those sites are businesses built on ad revenue. No one is continually checking up on committed players, they don’t drive traffic.
Okay, now that we’ve got the standard, stagnant recruiting ranking since he’s committed (and to Butler) post. I’ll add the standard he’s still growing post.
