Hastings got the better of Bingham Jr. earlier this year, and then kind of got scorched a bit by a kid who's more of a D2 level recruit. Hard to make any definitive statements on how good someone is vs. another player based on one game.

I guess I shouldn’t trust my unnamed Carmelite sources anymore and just rely on ppl who get paid to do it

3 points, 3 assists, 6 rebounds at half by my count. Carroll’s tallest kid is 6’5”. He is just getting bullied down low. JMM can get a post touch whenever he wants but he hasn’t done much with them so far.

I left with a minute left and he had 11 points and 10 boards. Butler definitely has something to work with here, but he’s got a long way to go. Hopefully he takes a big stride forward this summer.

I saw Mulloy play twice this week what impressed me was his court savvy, great foot work, and good hands and will dunk. He will in my humble
opinion be an impact player his freshman year.

I wouldn't go that far. Butler has not traditionally had bigs who make an impact that early. He still looks very raw to me. I like how he is able to finish through contact. Appears to have good hands as you said and can dribble too. He doesn't appear to really be that strong on the defensive end (yet).

Sounds like he is going to be playing the Nike EYBL circuit this summer so more good competition for him. Needs to get stronger and put on some muscle too.

Matt Howard comes to mind as a freshman-ready big. I am remiss on any others, if there do happen to be some. Maybe Rylan or Mike Marshall?

Wonder if one of our bigs could work out with him in the weight room putting on some muscle and getting stronger?

I think/hope he was in foul trouble. Carmel faces Fort Wayne North next. There are a bunch of coaches in Logansport

Dang that's pretty good numbers for a high school junior.
