    Like our chances, yes. But how high is he on the priority list? I know very little about him, but I can't see him getting an offer while Irvin and Beachem have high interest in butler.

    With our offers out to three 2013 SF (Irvin, Beachem, Berry), I don't think that Davenport will receive one unless 2 or the 3 fall through. Right now, Davenport is saying that Wisconsin and Butler are his favorites, but does not hold an offer from either. Now, that isn't to say he won't get one, he has a lot of potential and will only get better. With Irvin, Beachem, and Berry all having big time Butler interest, I just don't see him getting an offer YET.

    One thing we can probably conclude though is that we are not going to sign another player for 2012. With all of these high-profile 2013 players we are looking at, I would assume that we hold off and save the roster stop for 2013. Note though that if Rotnei Clark signs, his eligiblitiy would not affect our 2013 scholarship numbers.

    @highmajorscoop 6-foot-4/2013/SF/Josh Davenport from Cincinnati, Ohio mentioned Iowa, Butler, Wisconsin with offers. With Xavier, UD, Cincy giving interest.

    With several other highly ranked players still on the board it must mean Stevens is very high on Davenport. I know the scouting services aren't very kind to him in their rankings, but they do also mention that he has unlimited scoring potential. Just sounds like he is still raw. This might be one of those players who blow up in his junior/senior year that Butler seems to be good at landing.

    From the same website above. It's just from an open gym and most certainly isn't a good way to evaluate his talent, but it does give you a little bit of a look at him.

    Last Friday Davenport led his team to a win with 22 points in 24 minutes on 10-14 shooting. He also had 13 rebounds but did have 6 turnovers as well.
