Hasn't kicked in yet, and 45 days. He's probably got less than 5 days left

Thanks. So, it’s 45 days being on an NBA roster, that’s the trigger?

Played 15 minutes tonight for Minn and was 4-6 from the floor for 11 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists with no turnovers.

Omari Spellman is also back and forth between the Timberwolf and the G league. Hope Martin sticks

His first NBA game was Oct 25, so he loses 1 so he's at 25 and 24 count played games. If he stays up even 1 extra day that's 48 I know he hasn't on all of them, he's got to be right there.

It would take a pretty big commitment by the Wolves I think to let Kelan get to the Magic 45 day #. It would likely mean that they want him on the full time roster for next year.

If they aren’t sure they will send him down to the G-League/let him have 44 days but my understanding is it is 500-600k difference. He is definitely top 12 on their player roster and if they feel he is Top 9 for next year I could see them pushing him past the Magic #. They won’t do it for this year purposes as they are about 28 games below 500 so they aren’t going anyplace this year so even if he makes team better this year he only gets to 45 days if Wolves have long term (plans past this season) for him

Not to mention Jarret Culver... Wonder if that post was a backhanded bash on him.

Number 77 for the Mavericks could not possibly be on any all defense teams

He's one of the best players in the world, though, so he has that going for him.

I guess if you are making $40.00 + a second you don’t take a charge.

Did you read the comments below? They were trashing Culver.

I'm not convinced the bashing is warranted though. The kid is 21 and has had a decent year. Kelan is playing great, but I'm guessing when Culver is 24 he will have stepped his game up quite a bit.
