Meanwhile back at the thread topic, Kelan knocked down 11 points and grabbed 2 rebounds, & had 3 assists in 18 minutes last night in the T'wolves win over Miami on the road in Miami.

He has the skillset to succeed in today's NBA. Looking at the article posted the other day about him and D-Lo, there's always a place for tweeners who can shoot the three and guard the 3/4. This was not always the case -- you were kind of no man's land with that skillset. But now it is coveted.

Speaking of Kelan, does anyone know off-hand if he played enough games to get that contract? Or did COVID mess that up as well. I assume the T'Wolves are done this season?

Kelan looks trim yet stronger. Those nagging back issues while at BU look completely gone—moving really well.

Minnesota recinded their qualifying offer, making Kelan an unrestricted free agent. Likely means the end of his stint

Hopefully Kelan is able to get another two way deal for this season. I feel like the late start will hurt these borderline guys who previously could be getting paid on a big club in Europe. I am not sure what the usual protocol for two way guys is, especially in this weird year. I know the Pacers did the same with their two guys from last year, including Naz Mitrou-Long who like Kelan played well enough to get a second two way contract. Not sure if they can be picked up on one by these teams again. Either way I doubt we have seen the last of Kelan in the NBA, whether it is as a two way guy or a mid-season G League signing.

This will also likely help attendance if/when things start getting back to normal.

Love this deal for Kelan and local fans of Butler who can now watch him all the time. He is up there as my favorite bulldog. Cool he gets to play in Indy and prob can get to a few BU games. Can't ask for much more.
