The Athletic article said Tyus is 6'6. I guess I'm interested in seeing his shot form in person. Lots of journalists have written about what he does with his lower body while in the air.
Well he was listed at 6’5 his junior and senior years and now he’s listed at 6’5 at Butler. There is zero reason to think that he isn’t. Not to mention his brother was at least that tall.
It looks to me like Tyus is going to play for Iowa in the G league. So it would follow that he and Kelan will be team mates in the Timberwolves organization. Sent from my SM-G930T using Butler Hoops mobile app
From how it is described, sounds like what Bleuitt used to do. That worked okay for him. Sent from my iPhone using Butler Hoops
Everything I have heard is that he is exactly 6-foot-5. That's not a boosted listing. I was surprised at first too, but that looks to be accurate in person as well.
Was he mad about lack of playing time at year end? Talent was there but had some work to do defensively.
There would have been a lot minutes available next year, I still say he will be going to Rutgers or possibly Syracuse.
We need to archive this so we can concentrate on our stupid Coronavirus takes. Sent from my iPad using Butler Hoops mobile app
Interesting. He’ll be one to follow. Wish him the best. Sent from my iPhone using Butler Hoops mobile app
Interesting. Closer to home, but seems like a slight step down basketball conference wise (especially with UConn leaving). Wish him well. No hard feelings here.
Agreed. Thought he'd land somewhere more currently prominent (Temple has amazing history but not world beaters as of late), but think with a year off to develop and a dropoff in competition, he can be the best player on the team for a couple years and stuff a stat sheet.
