I am sorry to see him go, think he has potential to be very good , and wish him well and much success at this next school.
He did not get what he was looking for at Butler, perhaps he will find it at his next stop. I still say it will be at Rutgers or Syracuse.

It is challenging in the short term to have standards that are non-negotiable. Almost always works out in the long run. Doesn't make it any less painful. I'll buy in that it was "mutual". All the best to Khalif at his next school.
Perhaps in couple of years he may become the player most of us thought he could be. The maturation process can be painful. His court awareness and basketball IQ can go nowhere but up after this past year.
