No idea on Norman. Kid can score and he's a good athlete, but unlike Hastings or Bingham, he wasn't going up against anyone that's going to be playing in college next season. I'd welcome him, but I'm not very knowledgeable on who's been reached out to or has scheduled visits with Butler.

One thing not directly involved with the game, but tonight Godwin Heights had a militarily appreciation night and Markeese Hastings spoke to the crowd before the game. Typical Butler kid.

No he's not. He decommitted when Tim Floyd resigned.

Highlights from the game - Hastings is #1 on Godwin Heights since the first highlight shown doesn't indicate who is handling the ball and making the pass.

Another angle and an additional highlight or two of Markeese from the first video

Good basketball build, that's for sure.

And nice handles on several plays from the videos. I don't know about Norman, but Hastings looks like he's ready to play against HM competition.

Hastings looks like he handled Bingham without issue.

Yea he's definitely going to have a solid athletic Big East 6'7 body next year. I'm hopeful he can give us a quick boost at least defensively, rebounding, shot blocking

I had wondered why folks were mentioning Norman as a possible target. Some how I missed his de-commitment . Must be issues with his evaluation, if the staff is indeed taking a look.

In terms of scoring, Bingham is a much more skilled player IMO - is a better outside shooter and at 6'10, has good handles (Hastings' handles are probably better from what I've seen from a small sample size). Hastings is definitely more physically ready for D1 basketball right now, but in terms of upside, Bingham's is likely higher.

Eh that’s the same story as that soft-as-**** dude from Texas who Butler held to 4 pts in the tourney. Myles Turner? 5 star with super talent and skill. I assume he’s in the NBA and Woods and Chrabascz aren’t, but they were the better college players. And all I care about is how they do for Butler.

A very good NBA player, in fact. But you’re correct. His college career didn’t add much value for Texas.

Hastings has great length. He looks like he might be able to guard 1-4 in college.

In fairness to Turner he hadn't turned 18 yrs. old yet back then. Hastings has a lot of Arron Henry type qualities but he's bigger.

He was a few days shy of 19 when we played him. He just wasn’t well utilized by UT.

I stand corrected. Blame it on my old timers.
