New Butler offer, averaged over 20 points per game during the EYBL live period. Not highly ranked yet but that appears outdated. Sent from my iPhone using Butler Hoops mobile app
Offers from IU, Illinois, Georgia Tech and Creighton today. Sounds like the kid had a hell of a weekend in front of LJ and others.
Here were his highlights from the past weekend: https://www.insidethehall.com/2019/04/30/video-2020-forward-matt-cross-nike-eybl-highlights/ Can't figure out how to get just the video here, it won't embed using the media button. Looks like a perfect Michigan type stretch 4. Gritty inside and can absolutely stroke it from deep. Reminds of an AC with far, far more range
Allegedly JMM was taking in this dude today. I had someone tell me he's kinda Kyle Youngish, but maybe a little stronger. Interesting comp.
I don't think Kyle Young has that type of wingspan, but I could be wrong. Sent from my SM-G930V using Butler Hoops mobile app
Think I read that his team has been decimated by injury and literally was just about the only one who could put the ball in the hoop. Which they said made it even more remarkable cause teams were just focused on stopping him Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using Butler Hoops mobile app
Cross has averaged 23.4 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game through 13 EYBL contests for BABC (MA).
Hate posting an insidethehall link on here but this kid can really play. https://www.insidethehall.com/2019/04/30/video-2020-forward-matt-cross-nike-eybl-highlights/ Big man who can shoot the ball at an extremely high level and take people off the dribble. Definitely just got added somewhere at the top of my list of wants Sent from my iPhone using Butler Hoops mobile app
A quicker better handling Big Chrabs. I'm down. Very impressed with them getting him on campus. Bravo to the staff. His offer list is insane. Lots of ACC and Big Ten love. Not much Big East though. Like I said with that list, getting him on campus is impressive. Landing him would be a coup.
Wow, I didn’t realize we were this much of a player here. This would be huge. Sent from my iPhone using Butler Hoops mobile app
He isn’t that big. More of a big wing than an under sized center. But decent comparison. He can shoot it better than his EYBL numbers indicate
I agree. I really love his play style based on video. Video can only show so much, but I think this is the type of player Butler needs in this class. Pair him with Brown and Harris and that would be a stellar class on its own. Sent from my iPhone using Butler Hoops mobile app
