Indications from the Campbell's soup kid at IU is that he may screw up anyone.
I know the author is biased, but this article makes it seem that South Carolina would be a heavy favorite for Cross' abilities. This is the main argument for longevity in coaching or hiring a coach with connections.
Bias or not, it's been the feel on this one that South Carolina was the leader in the clubhouse, and even IU homers were saying that they really wanted Cross, but that South Carolina was more likely for Cross to choose. I'm not sure where or how strongly Miami plays in this one, but it seems to me it's SC or IU for his services...hopefully he chooses wisely.
Latest from IU buddies is IU / Miami seem to be the favorites. SC right in there. Butler unlikely.
Anyone but IU. Kid, do yourself that favor.
I would agree, emotionally. However, Cross picking SC or Miami does nothing to move the dominoes, for any of our other targets (Leal), in our direction, if we are still interested.
With that said, we are at the big boy table and we are going to have to be able to win our share of these types of recruiting battles. In my mind, we need 2 of our "top" targets to compliment Harris and the wild card of Myles.

As if his original list wasnt tough enough to beat out, he is now scheduling officials to Florida and texas a&m.

Florida tomorrow. A&M this weekend.
Peegs crew basically saying that Butler is out. Florida visit was big. Texas A&M has existing connections but they don't think he'll end up there. IU, FLA, Miami seem to be at the top. Apparently Archie is a huge fan of Cross and really really wants him.
IU fans and media geeks are a bunch of pant loads.
We're definitely out. Have been. Why this is not in the archives, I have no idea. **** him.
I just hope he picks anyone but IU. The beauty of SC, Miami and the great program of Florida want you, don't go to redneck hell.
It's always sweet to knock them off, just in case he does.

Not saying I'm expecting it to happen at all, but it sure would be awesomely hilarious if he ended up committing here.
Sounds like a great selling point, plus it was honest and accurate.
There's no doubt he would start in the Big East someday. I guess we'll see what that's worth against all of the other conferences. Cross would blow up this recruiting class into something ridiculous.
