    What are you listening to?

Tyler Childers "Red Barn Radio I and II" for me. Been listening to a lot of Childers lately.

Been stuck on Nathaniel Rateliff for a bit. Big shout out to fellow classmate Josh “Reverend” Peyton And His Big Damn Band, as well. Falls into same category. Check him out if you’re not familiar. Good dude, great tunes.

Miss being in Nashville, in the mix of things. Always had a good pulse on the new stuff down there.

I am a big fan of Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats. Been fortunate to see them perform a few times. The best was seeing him open for John Prine at the Grand Ole Opry on New Year's Eve. I thought the roof was going to come off that place during his set.

    I will check out Peyton.

That's a gorgeous setting for a concert. I'd love to get out there for a show.

You mentioned Darrell Scott in your other comment. My wife is a huge fan of his - I like his work too - and we'd been looking for an opportunity to see him for a long time. Finally got to a few years ago and it was at this tiny dinner-with-a-stage restaurant/bar/venue. Very cool experience, though a little weird having people still eating while he was performing.

John Prine is a great show. The fact you saw them both on NYE in Nashville (Ryman would have been even better), that’s pretty cool.

We were there on NYE too :)

Great show and fun to finally hear the JP & Iris songs live. Nathaniel is a blast. Have had a good time every time he's played in Indy (and the Opry show).

Speaking of...Bobby’s hitting the road here soon. His latest album is some of his best solo stuff since the 70s

Yes! I was really excited to finally hear Prine with Iris Dement. "In Spite Of Ourselves" is a particular favorite of me and my wife.

One of my all-time favorite concert experiences, and I have been pretty fortunate in who all I have had the chance to see over the years.

Childers is good. Have been into southern rock/country lately. The Steel Woods. Whiskey Myers. Cody Jinks. Ashley McBryde. Parker McCollum. More pop country, but Luke Combs just came out with a new CD that's equally as good as his first album.

Luke Combs is one of only country artist since 2000 I listen to. Something about his drawl reminds me of old school country.

Sturgill Simpson puts on a damn good show if you get a chance. Brother can rip it up. And I hate most country in the radio
