But is he good enough for the New Big East since Butler is the only conference team that has made him an offer? What do you think Title and I AmButler.

He has an offer from Creighton. Look if you're going to try baiting other posters out (which you shouldn't be doing in the first place), at least get your facts right.

Given the fact that he'll most likely be landing a Big10 offer or two soon . . . but you weren't really asking . . .

It's nice to have a realistic offer out there, but if a Big Ten offer comes (especially Minnesota) he'll take it nearly immediately.

I live within a couple miles of his high school.

If they make a move on Delshon Stickland, they might be able to get both. Strickland was just offered by Iowa.

Then he is Big East talent! Great because if Butler was the only school that offers him then surely he is low or mid major and unworthy. If it sound like baiting I am OK with that.

Sarcasm is a better device, if you are actually bright enough to pull it off...

I read this board typically because the information is pretty solid, and I enjoy the various opinions. The piss fights that are direct attacks on certain people who have differences in opinions is freaking annoying and pointless. Contribute something or go the buhoops.yuku.com...they will love you there.

That said, I like what I have seen from this kid a lot. As we have seen in the past (aka 2 years ago), can never have enough shooters.

Thought he was high major first time I saw him. RT @mrwils24: Thoughts on MN guard J.P. Macura? Great spring, HM offers starting to roll in

A bigger version of AJ Graves? Enough creativity and ball skills to play some Point Guard?

He's a significantly higher level athlete. If you want a rough proxy, maybe Will Sheehey.

Perhaps a shade less athlete than Sheehey and a shade better shooter.

No comparison to Graves. He's an athlete and 6'5"

    -----

He evidently visited Minnesota again today (he'd go there) and will visit Creighton next.

Strickland is an impressive athlete. His pregame dunking is on the order of magnitude of Chrishawn Hopkins. I'd be in favor of BU pursuing, but with what he can do, I'd imagine he'll catch the eye of someone(s) who Butler can't successfully recruit against.

In his videos, Macura looked like he had alot of dribble drive creativity and ball handling skills. More so than a guy like Sheehey. That's why I am curious if Macura could eventually play a lead guard position at Butler.

Does he really hold a Minnesota offer that high? That program could be in the B10 cellar with an inexperienced Richard Pitino. Sounds like Macura killed it at the Iowa State camp this weekend from twitter reports.
