What "unfortunate situation" are you referring to? The fact that he was using fake ID in a bar and exposed his penis for everyone to see? I'm sure he is a "really good" person, has high moral standards, and is an exceptional student. I wish him the best, also.

I'd cut him a lot of slack if his on court behavior were respectful like Bluiett's and many of his other teammates. But whatever criticism he gets now is deserved yet hopefully a learning experience. Hopefully Mack learns from this as well. History says he won't.

Macura's on court behavior has been well documented. For those who minimized those who called that behavior out as being sour grapes or suggesting that BU could use a talent like his, this has to be giving them pause. Chris Mack strikes me as the kind of coach that likes to encourage that (Macura's) fire in his players. This time they both got burnt. I put alot of this on Mack as he apparently is not mentoring this young man for life outside of the protective bubble of X basketball. Probably best for the kid in the long run as he will be put through a crash course in humility. Hopefully the adults around him take their responsibility seriously moving forward.

All due respects to another poster it was not an addiction. It has been a devastating illness to him and everyone close to him and I will leave it at that.

Guessing with "Danville" in your handle, you have some knowledge of, or ties to the Steele family. Perhaps you have information that will shed some light? As to expressing any concerns to Chris Mack, I'm sure as a Butler fan my observations would have zero influence on this situation.

I agree it makes no sense to identify yourself as a Butler fan. I may send Mack an email later this afternoon. I will express my disappointment as a Big East or X fan.
