He will be a good Butler player, shows a lot of offensive skills around the basket.

I don’t care if he’s inconsistent right now. How many guys at his length can make some of those plays even once? Some of those were not easy shots.

This reminds me a little of jaxson Hayes. Dripping with potential but completely under the radar. In addition, it seems like Wilmoth can already shoot from outside.

The video indicates no1 prospect in ny—no clue why he isn’t top 150. I am most excited to see him play—you can almost see him playing anywhere from the 2-5

No 1 in New York...there's a boat load of talent in New York. Like tons. How the hell is this kid not ranked even decently nationally? That's simply weird. Doesn't add up, but, I'll take it. Slow play him in year one then watch him take off the next 3.

This is also a good indicator (as is Eugene Brown's recruitment) of why the current Butler staff tends to do better with quick, early, and under-the-radar recruitments. They seem to be better at evaluating talent than they are at closing versus bigger schools.

I can't figure out the "#1 in NY" thing. Some internet sleuthing has this article referencing his 247 page https://usatodayhss.com/2019/no-1-ny-myles-wilmoth-commits-butler-basketball where it indeed does list him as the #1 NY prospect, but the actual top 10 list doesn't have him on it: https://247sports.com/Season/2020-B...ankings/?InstitutionGroup=HighSchool&State=NY. BUT based on his national ranking, he should be #8 in the state. 247 is weird and so are player rankings.

Just did this in reverse—if he is the #1 player in the state, he should be top 67 in the national rankings.

He's the #1 in Rhode Island not New York. However - #1 is #1 and this student athlete is the #47 nationally at his position. Great job Bulldog staff!

Wasn’t Andrew Chrabascz #1 in Rhode Island?

Great shooter on film & and moves really well for his size. Let's hope they get him in the weight room once his arm heals.

He needs to go to Golden coral and not be let out until he gains 30 pounds.

While I don't disagree that Myles could add some muscle to his frame; I wonder if adding too many pounds might affect his agility in a negative way. I look at Tariq Owens from St. John's/Texas Tech, and I believe that they had him listed at 6'10", 205 lbs. He seemed to be able to carry his own against those who may have had 20-30 pounds on him.

I spoke with one of Myles' highly recruited CityRocks teammates today and with a coach/AD from a school holding a State championship. They both said, what you see now is not what you will see play. Myles has more "upside" than almost anyone his size.

Nothing says "welcome to Butler" like complaining about a 17 yr. old's lack of weight.

Peter Griffin is from Rhode Island.

I went to the music fest once there. It was weird with weird humans.
