Of all the teams I would love to see crushed today it would have to be Syracuse.

I texted my brother and told him that his Flyers need to buckle up and get around to kicking the Orange back to Syracuse where they belong. They had no business making the field, much less not having to play a First Four game.

KenPom actually had 'Cuse as a 1 point favorite. Hadn't looked at them for that game.

 

There is a difference between belonging in the field and being capable of winning a game. Probably 50 teams that were left out would have a decent shot of winning a first round game, so winning a game proves nothing. Plus, as I said before the game, everyone (correctly) saying a team doesn't belong is a HUGE motivator and leads to 1+ wins more often than not.

 

Someone needs to wake Izzo's boys up. Down 6 at the half.
