I get a special joy seeing any team not named IU win at AH.

I know it’s early, but the SLU loss isn’t looking AS bad, right?

Right now St. Louis is on top of the A10 @ 5-0. There are 5 other teams(including Dayton) with 1 loss.

By the way, big time win by NIU at home yesterday by 2 over Buffalo should keep NIU right around 100 NET

I know it doesn’t help us but I love seeing IU lose.

IU is a very interesting case from a Butler resume perspective. On one hand, the Dawgs want the Hoosiers to play well to make the loss look better. On the other hand, though, they are now on the bubble enough to the point where if they keep losing, that opens up another spot in the field. Butler, by almost every metric, has about a 50-60% chance of getting in at this moment and with the upcoming schedule/predictive metrics (don't blame me for the optimism - blame the numbers).

Having said this, Butler fans should root for Indiana to be consistent one way or another: If they consistently win down the stretch, the loss looks better. If they consistently lose, it opens up an at-large spot many didn't think would be available two weeks ago. Somewhere in the middle and it is negative both ways.

From the some things never change file....the McDonald's East vs West All Star high school teams have been announced. Two players who have decided to play in the BIG EAST are included....both going to Villanova. If any team is to supplant the Wildcats at the top...better put on their big boy recruiting pants. They already have the best in game coach....and continue getting the best talent.
