Yurtseven with 20 pts. and 12 boards for Gtown in opener. Kyle Young with 14 pts. and 13 rebounds for O$U
It blows me away how every year Georgetown plays so bad against awful teams to start the season Either way they will play is like it’s to get to the final four Sent from my iPhone using Butler Hoops mobile app

Arguably my favorite thread each year, thank you for doing this bu97. Gtown was down at one point I think by 13 or 14. They roared back. Surprised SJU took care of Mercer that easily. I watched almost that whole Florida game the other night. Blackshear looked incredible but the rest wasn't as good as I expected. I'm sure by the time we play them they'll be rolling.
Georgetown was down 17 in the second half then Akinjo went off followed by Yurtseven who went 20 and 12, they ended the game on like a 20-2 run
New Orleans came within 2 points of doubling up Spring Hill. And New Orleans is horrible. With basic logic, what does that make Spring Hill? Sent from my iPad using Butler Hoops mobile app
Not sure this belongs under this heading, but looking at the Kenpom matrix this morning, we are still 25th, and right below us are Cincinnati and Houston, which are the two highest listed teams from The American Athletic Conference. So - if you were in a bar in Cincinnati tonight you could use that factoid to explain clearly that Butler would win the AAC this year.
How long into that conversation in the Cincinnati bar would it be before Myles Fox Morrissey knowingly pulled his pants down? Undoubtedly, it was to satisfy a required element of the criminal charge, but it always cracked me up how it said he "knowingly" pulled his pants down.
