Indiana got smoked by Texas. 66-44. IU is poor at blocking out. Defense is soft. No transition offense. Durham for IU sprained his ankle badly. Imagine he’s out for awhile. Joey Brunk has not played this year due to back problem.
Anyone who can stand more than 2 minutes of Bill Walton on ESPN I salute you. Sent from my iPad using Butler Hoops mobile app
I actually thought IU's defense was pretty good, but I didn't watch the last 10 minutes of the game... I just don't think IU can shoot. (*knocks on wood*) In basketball, there's a symbiotic relationship between offense and defense. So when you can't score, it really takes a toll on your defense. Spoiler: providence they obv didn't get that memo bc the Friars played d like everyone on the court was Steve Alford
It’s miserable listening to him. Also, tonight he apparently asked if Stevens still coached at Butler.
He says all sorts of crazy mess and little of it relates to what's happening on the court. At the start of the Carolina-Stanford game, he asked "Is that Hubert Davis on the bench?" totally surprised. Hubert Davis has been an assistant coach since 2012. He clearly does zero prep for the games he works.
It's awful. I got blasted on Twitter the other day for saying so. I respect his playing career and remember his analyst role in the 90's, where I thought he was pretty good (although I was in my teens). Listening to him now is like listening to that uncle of yours that never left the drugs and rock n roll of the 70s. Just plain cringe.

Maybe, as long as Butler can play the Hoyas in DC or in a bubble. Georgetown has had more success at Hinkle than any other BE team. Sent from my iPhone using Butler Hoops
