Purdue waits its entire existence to be ranked first in the country. It will last only one week. They lose tonight to Rutgers. There goes the Dawgs chance to knock of the nation's number one team on the 18th.
Why couldn't they wait until next week to barely scrounge up 68 points? Ending was tons of fun and I'm now sure they're gonna drop 100 on us. Also, kudos to Rutgers fans, that was one of the best court storms I've ever seen.

The ending of the Purdue-Rutgers game was electric. Ron Harper Jr. absolutely willed them to victory down the stretch. What a great end to a game. Harper's performance reminded me of watching Kamar or Rosie just ascending to a higher level in crunch time and dominating the close of a game. Winning mentality is a real thing, and hopefully the young guys can continue to develop the mindset as they gain experience.

Seton Hall, as the #15 team in the country, forfeited its game against St John’s tonight. Good Lord, I hope this doesn’t become a “thing” this year. The Johnnies are riding high off their “upset” going into their next game against Butler on Thursday. Sent from my iPhone using Butler Hoops
Hendrix 56 Central Arkansas 90 Incarnate Word 59 Purdue 79 My data isn't pulling in the forfeited games, just FYI. Creighton has a forfeit win over DePaul too. If DePaul and Seton Hall, scheduled to play each other later this week, still can't field healthy teams, they *both* get a forfeit loss per Big East policy. So the conference standings W/L won't add up. EDIT: apparently DePaul has already forfeited that game too, so the double-forfeit scenario is merely hypothetical, as Seton Hall has already bounced back from its forfeit loss.
