I've seen him at, at least, one game this year. This definitely moves him up in my eyes. Very cool move by him!

Ballard in the middle of a major prove it year. Hasn't done anything without Andy Luck.

Will get the W today. Minnesota has NEVER won a road game against the Baltimore or Indianapolis Colts.

The Vikings have played the Colts 25 times in their history. They've NEVER won in BALT or INDY - EVER! 14 Losses in a row.

@willisbrown you better get all over this on the degenerate gambling site.

The rash of early season injuries in the NFL could be due to a lack of scrimmages, practices or exhibitions?

My BIL, who is a team doc for the Colts, said as much on Sunday when referencing Malik Hooker’s Achilles injury.

Injuries are normal for the NFL, but these are some marque players which seems a little abnormal.

Yep, it'll be interesting to see what the Colts do. It wasn't a given they wouldn't have done something anyway but now there's no question about it.

Who is ready to move on from experienced QB's that you could get for a good deal?
    Matt Ryan
    Matthew Stafford

I think those have to be the top 2 choices for a team "on the cusp."

Maybe but you'd essentially be "renting" a guy for a year or two, not unlike Philip Rivers. Do they want to go that route or try and find a more permanent solution?

I was impressed with Rivers as a competitor and what he was able to do given his physical limitations. Someone else like that wouldn't be the worst thing in the world.

I think that's the idea - the core of the Colts are all in or getting to their prime. Get a better than serviceable QB, and they are maybe only 2nd to KC next year in the AFC. You're not breaking up the current roster for an unproven high draft pick rookie.

I was also thinking about Deshaun Watson, who is probably going to be traded by the Texans. He's proven, although the Texans were a bad team this year. I'm not sure what the Colts would have to give up though, nor if the Texans would hesitate to trade him to the Colts, since they're in the same division.
