Then it is settled….Butler must find a way to poach Johnny Jones from Texas Southern and make him our next head coach.

 

But like… how does an 0-7 team go into a Top 20 team and dominate by 15??? What was the ML before the game?

Has to be one of the biggest upsets of the last 10 years.

 

Just took a peek at Texas Southern's schedule and my God every one of their nonconference games is a road game, or so- called buy game. I know low majors have to play a lot of those games to make ends meet, but I don't think I have ever seen a schedule that didn't have at least one or two home games, often against a DII.

FWIW, they were a tournament team last year after winning the SWAC.

 

Texas Southern has actually been fairly decent for several years. They usually have a roster full of athletic JUCO players & transfers. They rarely have a great overall record because their non-conference schedule is mostly buy road games at high majors. They’re usually really good in SWAC play and frequently make the NCAA tournament.

Butler’s women made SportsCenter Friday night but not in a good way. They lost to Denver in 4 overtimes.

im wait and see on DePaul. A few years ago they went 12-1 out of conference, then only won 3 games in-conference.

 

Have they won a game yet this year? It seems that all I see are losses. Could be looking for two basketball coaches in the off-season.

Creighton looked dominant. I'm not a fan of that.

And looks like Oklahoma still trying to hold on. Arky looks a little more awake this half. They're talented as hell so this would be a huge win for Oklahoma.
