But I often get caught up still thinking it's a ten team conference. And seeing that uconn kicks our asses all around I kinda wish it still was.

Joey Brunk Show on ESPN rn.

 

Joey had almost as many points last night as he had scored in every other game of calendar 2022 to that point.

 

Currently watching the 2010 championship on ESPN U…. I had totally forgotten how much Avery Jukes contributed in that game. Came in for foul-troubled Matt Howard in the 1st half and burned the Dukeys for 10 points. Actually set the tone for a close game the rest of the way. Good times! (No I won’t be watching the last 5 seconds)

That fadeaway jumper by Hayward over Zoebek is the shot I want back. That thing was money off his hand (also watching the replay)

 

More than Gordon's shot, I key in on Shelvin's 3-pointer that looked straight but long. He rarely missed looks like that. At the game's 1:11 mark, the score B57 - D60. Going into the final minute tied--& Duke's collective sphincters as tight as they were--would've been HUGE.

 

I loved Veasley, but I get annoyed still that he went 0/6 from 3 that game. He shoots a crappy 1/6 and Butler is National Champs.

 

Somehow I slept on this one... had no clue that Brunk had taken his "game" (sic) back to Holtman again... shows what kind of impact he's had.

 

Chattanooga just allowed Furman to shoot a 3 while down 3 with 4 seconds left. Dude buried it. Going to OT.

YOU ALWAYS FOUL.

 

This SoCon title game has been a lot of fun. Headed to overtime now.

 

I flipped over from the SoCon game to the Sun Belt and Louisiana has been fouling since 2:30 left

 

OH MY GOD Chattanooga!

 

What an ending....

 

That’s what March Madness is all about! Love the conference tournaments leading up to Selection Sunday and the NCAA tournament. Hope it doesn’t change.

I’ve watched pieces of both Horizon semifinals tonight. The level of play is low, very low.

 

Don’t you dare insult Damian Chong Qui like that!

 

Is that very very low level of play from the Horizon league last night worse than, equal to or better than what we saw from Butler this year and last? Just asking for an opinion.

 

We’d likely have won that league pretty easily both years.

I did not watch the whole game, but I legitimately thought about staying up late just to see if P-FW would crack 40 points. (They did, barely...they were at 37 with less than 1 min to go.)

On the other game, that Chattanooga buzzer beater was awesome, but I feel so bad for Furman. They haven't been to the tournament since 1980, and they were so close. They didn't even make the tournament a few years ago when they started super hot including winning at Villanova and making the AP poll...folded down the stretch and lost in the conference tourney.
