Oh come on... what’s worse than watching the end of 2010 title game? Cutting to Trump attempting to wing it.

Veasley missed so many open threes. If only he knocked a couple down...

If memory serves, he was 0/6. If he makes one of those, we win. Ugh.

Gordon got away with at least clearing out fouls on rebounds. Everyone was gassed at the end, and it shows from the offensive production over the last nine minutes.

That is why I became a Butler fan. Veasley at 6 ' 3 guarding 4's and 5's and battling to the end. Ron, Sean , and Zach defending all over the court. Shots did not go down but watching this game made me proud to be a Butler fan.

I could see why people claimed we were physical. It's funny because Howard was out most of the game and really struggled to produce against their inside players,we missed a lot of free throws and still could have won. I had not seen the replay and was there, so many of the stats were interesting to see for the first time. I felt like we just hung around. Jukes played the game of his career ( way to end you college basketball days.) Nored was such a dogged defender, but after watching this and another replay, I think Thompson is quicker and a better ball handler.

Was the game pretty low-resolution and/or both letterboxed and pillared for anyone else?
I have some Comcast Xfinity online streaming of over-the-air (e.g. CBS) channels; I recorded it from that.

I have the highest video setting chosen and the other channels from Xfinity streaming look just fine. I wonder if it was just when you DVRed it but not live??

Really bugs me because I had to stop watching cuz it looked so bad and I had never seen it before. Looked like a great game and I'm dying to know how it turned out!

    Veasley 0-5 on 3s; 1-4 on 2s
    Hayward 0-3 on 3s; 2-8 on 2s, but 8-8 on FTs
Howard played only 19 minutes. (He played only 15 minutes in the semifinal win over Michigan State and 20 minutes in the win over Kansas State in the regional final.)

Butler, amazingly, was the deeper team. Butler got 15 points from its bench in 45 minutes. Duke got no points from its bench, which played only a total of 17 minutes.

Does anyone know where to find a clip of Brandon Miller's game winner against Mississippi St. in 2003?

Thank you UPS for the great seats. Easily the best perk of my job in the over 23 years of employment.
