That checks out based on what I’ve heard about Vaughn. The only interaction in person I had was at a Preds/Hawks playoff game and he was naturally trashtalking. But who isn’t at a hockey game?

Headed to go see "Elvis" later this afternoon. I'm not a big "go to movies" type but I'll gladly go for this. Should be amazing.

Ha, I wish. Started a new gig. My free time ain't what it used to be. At least for the first couple months.

Elvis was good. Sad but good.

Was it hard to sit through a movie that long? Definitely want to see but maybe wait til it can be watched at home. Did see Phantom of the Open—fun little movie based on a true story.

Thanks. I'm not sure yet if it's a "congrats" or a "whoops" (only been 3 weeks) but we'll see. It was definitely an economy driven move (with how how interest rates have gone up plus inflation) where I didn't have much of a choice but to try something new. Part of me wishes I would have waited a little longer and looked around some more (I would have been fine not working for 2-3 months-not because that would just be awesome but coin wise) but the other me is fortunate this opportunity was available and I jumped on it.

Um...kinda. I did get up once to pee. So I missed a couple minutes but with how a lot of movie theatres operate now (more like restaurants) it makes it more tolerable. We could order beer/wine/food to our seats. I timed it at just over 2.5 hours.

I'll say it was good but I think it could have been better (knowing the history of all that like I do) I think they glazed over some things that I'd rather have seen. I'm not gonna give it away of course, but I was disappointed in that aspect.

Just like airlines taking away free checked bags to save on gas during gas price hikes, then never giving them back when gas prices came down.

I had a boatload of credits from a canceled trip and I did this to NOLA last month...I could check both mine and her bag for free and that was prob the biggest perk. I noticed the flight attendants don't come around as often and are really slow (vs how it used to be) so getting free drinkies wasn't that fun of a deal.

As a genral rule of thumb, if someone routinely throws food against the wall, do not give them the nuclear codes.

Late to the party but I'm finally schedule cleared up to go check out Top Gun today. Market inefficiency...tix are cheap and the theatre will be mostly empty. Oh well, I've heard it is good and she really wants to go sooooo...let's do it.
