I am not a stock broker. You are foolish to listen to this. Invest at your own risk...

Small caps are getting crushed each time they have a fed meeting. Direxion has a 3X short (symbol is TZA) so when the market goes down, the investor makes 3 times the gain. The day the Dow dropped 1,000+ points, I got in at 31 and sold two days later at 36. It is a buy and sell quick kind of play.

There's literally nowhere to f'ing hide right now.

Money markets pay 2.35% and 6-month T-bonds and CDs are at 3.87%. That beats this year's S&P 500 returns by 24.85 and 26.37%, respectively.

I follow markets but certainly don't pretend to be an expert other than pointing out the obvious. I have a guy, the same guy my mother and I have had for years and we just have to trust in his movements right now. Problem is we had a quarterly checkup a few days ago and he said this ain't it as far as bottoming out.

Guys that do trading for a living in here, I'd love to know their thoughts and the plays they think we could conservatively make while we're still plenty liquid. Outside of gambling which...I started the weekend (thursday and early today) 6-2 flying high. I soon got kicked in the face and the berries with other results. I had Arky straight up to win....if y'all haven't seen it. Go watch what happened there at the end.

Can’t possibly be as bad as how Missouri lost!

Ah yes… I failed to mention this… hiked to, underneath, and over a bunch of waterfalls. And they are literally everywhere along the roads.

I was there in August, and it was maybe 55 tops. Daylight until 10pm or later. Sadly no Northern Lights yet.

    There’s even a ski resort.

God...that was brutal. But what makes me happy is just how bad Auburn is. And I'll see them live in few weeks. Them sucking makes me happy.

But that was the ultimate choke job by Mizzou.

Sorry Wiilis, there is no one that does "trading for a living" in here. Just like no one does sports betting for a living in here. Gambling, whether stocks or sports, is a zero sum game.

A 3.87% return on a 6-month T-bond or CD is your best bet now. The I-series bond is a "no-brainer," but you are limited to $10k on an annual basis.

A couple of picks from the HOF induction ceremony last night. Unfortunately, Gordon wasn't able to be there but he did send a recorded video.

I never knew anything of "Coach O", that coached the women's team that was inducted, but she was very impressive, as well. 20220924_185832.jpeg 20220924_184429.jpeg

Hayward seems so much less connected to butler than everyone else. Kinda weird.

Hopefully that will change once his NBA career is over.

I have 100% felt the same way. It feels intentional that he wasn’t there.

I get “I’m to cool for this” vibes from Hayward.

I’ll give him a pass though since he’s got like 6 little girls that probably are a little time consuming

Not sure why people think he’s not supportive:
—gave $$ for the Gordon Hayward film room
—came to the 2010 Hall of Fame induction last year
—explained in his video last night why he couldn’t attend and said some very nice things about his teammates, coaches, fans and Hinkle
    —parents attended last night
—his schedule obviously conflicts with coming back to attend games
    —still close with teammates

    What more is expected?
