From the time his position was announced, I was worried the hierarchy of "1. IU, 2. Purdue, .... 493. Butler" would form and I think that's what happened. Now, that's not why he got laid off at all. But I'd rather a singular Butler writer than someone having to juggle 3 beats. I follow him on Twitter and it definitely seemed like he wrote more IU/PU content than Butler. Someone would have to check my work on that, though.
