I personally think it’s a store of value. I think you’re wrong to call it a scam. To be honest your posts read like someone who is angry they missed out on it 7 years ago and are now feeling serious FOMO. But even if it’s not a “digital gold”, it can still be a good investment.

Anyway, it you don’t like Bitcoin, you’re going to be really upset about Decentraland :)

If you’re asking me if I wish I had more money than less, I do. If you’re asking me if not owning Bitcoin has anything to do with what I’m saying, it doesn’t. I’m an idiot and sorely regret not buying $AMD 5 years ago. I still love it.

Your non-response responses (“whatever Jan, you’re just jealous”) read like someone who’s simply wistfully anchored to what you want to be true.

I mean so far all the data we have proves that it is true, while everything you’re saying is speculation...

Okay but Guess who bought AMD five years ago and sold it for a loss four years ago.

Bought at 13 sold at 12.

I figure what I’ve sold in my portfolio is worth 5x what I own.

If you’re so sure, why don’t you buy the CME options on BTC and bet that it will go down? It’s not quite the same as a stock, but you can bet against it.

All this Bitcoin and precious metal chatter has myself more excited that ever to receive a miniature "Golden Trump Statue". It's made of genuine Syroco (plastic) and comes with a certificate of authenticity from CPAC.

What’s weird is I really don’t know if you’re kidding about those existing.

Also weird that the CPAC has essentially turned into a 1930s Munich beer hall.

Sadly they probably do exist. I bet his supporters think it’s real gold.

And agreed 100%. It’s a bunch of privileged white supremacists trying to convince a bunch of dumb rednecks that the world is going to hell while the party in actual power is trying to pass legislation to help said rednecks financially. It’s an exercise in dangerous stupidity.

I'm just now seeing the fruits of some of my investments, that made me sick to my stomach for years. Glad I had the conviction to stick with them, but hoping hindsight doesn't tell me I should have unloaded more than I did a couple of weeks ago...

Sadly if they can be marketed, they probably will. Can you imagine if only 1% of the population shows an interest? Every fascist and fake Christian will have to purchase one. Trumpy Bear was a hot item for awhile.

It's damn near 70 and sunny out. A new outdoor thingy just opened a little north of here. Lots of brewhouses. Me thinks it's a good day to walk around and socialize...and sip on aplenty. Halcyon....here we come. Hopefully. Have to clear it by the boss first. Let's hope she's thirsty.

@ButlerNut I'll shoot you some beer pics if we go.

Not sure I’ve ever been so ready for golf season. It’s been a long winter.

I bought Nio at $1.60 and it’s now around $60. Not selling that is agonizing.

For those of you that play it, what is the appeal of golf?

It’s clear you love it, but why? I guess I just don’t get it.
