No comments on Myles Wilmoth, who accepted BU’s offer yesterday? Head over to FanSided to read Lukas’s story.

He’s Malloy 2.0 in the sense that he’s a big who needs the time to add weight and strength. The biggest thing for me is how well he and Malloy develop as rebounders and defenders.

Bet we see offers after Peach Jam as it's the last big national event of the summer with the new recruiting rules.

I disagree here, respectfully. In terms of what most people would classify as Tier 1 prospects we've shown interest in, we were never a real presence for Dawson Garcia or Caleb Love. Every program recruiting Leal and Galloway (not just us) knew there'd be a good chance they'd pop for IU if they got offers and I don't think either were realistic gets. Until we hear otherwise (and man is LJ keeping it close to the vest), I'd say we still have a presence with Scooby Johnson and Tyler Beard (clearly the staff wants a second guard in this class. We seem to be active with Cross and Myles Tate and apparently we are still in on Vescovi. Yes we probably will miss out on Brown, but I don't think that's the fault of LJ...I just think the hometown appeal is real with this kid. So I think we are still very much working the Tier 1 guys, but I also think LJ has some kids he likes as backup plans, but also as kids he wants to snag before they blow up. We were all impressed with him identifying Jaxson Hayes and Aaron Henry before the leeches came and offered, so maybe LJ wants to avoid that this time.

At 6'7 he's listed as a point forward so he'd be like an athletic AC which I'm all for. You can see the trend of LJ looking at a bunch of 6'6 to 6'9 athletic positionless players. Versatile and able to switch everything. You can see lineups starting to take form with any combo of Harris, Thompson, Battle, potential Brown or Scooby, JMM, Nze, Hastings, Wilmoth, David, a Cross etc
