I was reading an AP article, and they have Indiana listed as a state that should expect legalized sports books within 2 years. I don't have as much faith in our state legislature to get it done.

States would be stupid financially not to take advantage of this. Indiana already has casinos all over the state and Hoosier Park and Indiana Grand Racing for horse tracks. Missing out on having the ability to put sports betting in those facilities would be ridiculous, but you can't ever put anything past a group of politicians. Just look how long it took to sell alcohol on Sundays in this state.

I'm sure the NCAA will have an opinion on the matter.

Edit: Regarding the state legislature's vote.

I’m sure they will bury their heads in the sand and pretend it’s not a thing.

I am just excited for the potential of online sports gambling. I don’t understand the law, but I assume that can be a thing now if the state wants?
