http://scouthoops.scout.com/2/1401900.html Sean McDermott's (Pendleton Heights) visiting Butler on Tuesday. Not a ton on Butler, just said that he's familiar with them since Dunham's there and he acknowledges that their games are similar. From his comments here as well as to to the Fort Wayne News Sentinel, he seems like he really wants to be in the Big Ten rather than follow in Dunham's footsteps.

Jim Reamer GRInd @UAGRIND_2015 6:39 PM - 13 May 2014 Sean McDermott, 6′6″ SG 2015, Pendleton Heights, received an offer from Butler this evening. @big_sean14
Not everyone necessarily agrees about that. We will see if the coaching staff does. Cline is set to visit this week. If he walks away without an offer I think it's safe to say they have a preference.
http://www.indystar.com/story/recru...utler-offer-kentucky-guard-to-decide/9063691/ Interesting comments from Painter when McDermott was on his visit Monday: "I met with some of their coaches and they showed me around campus," he said. "Coach (Matt) Painter said before he offers he wants to see players in the high school season. He saw me against New Castle, but knew that wasn't a true representation of me as a player because I was just coming back (from the staph infection)." He also said that he wants to make his decision before the high school season starts. So I'm not sure if that means Purdue's out, but it doesn't really sound like they're real eager to give him an offer. My guess is IU follows suit and neither really come after him unless he blows up this summer. I think it's smart on Butler's part to get the offer out there early.
Just like with Dunham. The similarities are ridiculous. I also find it hilarious Creighton is getting involved. Must be name recognition...
I don't know. After reading about how he doesn't want to follow in Dunham's footsteps, I sort of expect this to be a hard sell. We shall see. I think you offer Cline regardless. We have the room and it forces some perceived competition for one spot.
