    Shocked at this news. Wow

I know this had been discussed, but I don't believe 4 guys coming back was ever really considered a possibility. Does this exhaust all of our potential scholarships to use on a transfer?

If we could add the right player to this mix, it would significantly alter my perspective on next year.

No, returning seniors using the extra covid year don’t count against the 13 scholarships as long as they stay on their current team.

I thought the seniors coming back didn't count against scholarships. Glad to see Nze and Aaron coming back. Hopefully Bolden and Christian can get some off season work in if they're going to contribute. Gonna need a second row for the bench next year.

I feel like this is about to become the board's new "When is Jordan Tucker eligible?" meme.

The real question is "Is Hodges a Senior returning on a COVID year, or a regular Senior using one of the 13 scholarships?".

I feel it already has. It’s infiltrated every thread.

Getting Nze back is huge. He was playing the best basketball of his career late in the season, so happy to see him back.

Really happy for AT too, if anything because it would’ve been a shame to see his career end without him in the floor. Doubtful he miraculously finds an outside shot, but he’s an elite defender, slasher and leader. His value only increases with Tate likely out for a large portion of next season.

Bolden can be a valuable contributor as long as he plays within himself. He forced way too many difficult shots. I think his best role is 6th man off the bench for firing some threes for a bit.

I’d love for David to become a contributor, but I don’t know if his body will allow it at this point. I see him having a similar role to this season with sparse minutes.

I have to imagine the staff knew about this well ahead of time, so I don’t see us suddenly leaving the transfer market. As for how everyone coming back will impact who comes, who knows. At the very least, we know what we’re getting in our seniors. Any transfer we take a gamble on would be a bonus.

It exhausts none of them. They’re all “free.”

    This is a big deal.

Man I’m so excited we get another year of Nze.

Getting Nze to return is massive. Probably the biggest "recruiting" win we could ask for this offseason.

Is this official? I hadn't seen them state this anywhere and I think folks are generally curious if we have 2 or 3 spots open.

This is shocking (to echo everyone else).

Nze is the most key. That is excellent news. Eases the need for a big transfer.

AT is also clutch, especially since we won’t see Tate next year.

Bolden can move to a bench shooter role.

    David for leadership.

Get another shooter transfer (Franklin/Kopp) or the best player available.

    Your lineup looks like:

    AT
    Harris
    Scooby/Kopp/Franklin/Wing McTransfer
    Golden
    Nze

with Bolden, Coles and Wilmoth off the bench.

THEN you consider the freshman. At least there will be a lot to work with. Getting everyone minutes will be tough. I hope we don’t lose a talented freshman Bc Bolden got those minutes. They don’t get a free year to develop.

This post is a rambling mess.

I think that this speaks volumes about how the players feel about LJ and the rest of the coaching staff. It is amazing that BU is willing & able to take on the cost of potentially having 18 scholarship players on their team next year.

Welp, we know what we need now...a true knock down shooter. A three man Coles/Nze/Golden rotation up front should be fine. Plus, Scooby has the body to steal some "4" minutes. This team gonna be deep.

Jared, clarify the transfer situation and how many BU could take.
