Didn't he finish his degree at Butler recently? He will be good.
I want to say yes.
According to the David Woods article from last month, he wasn't quite done yet.
He's made a lot of money in the NBA (close to 20 million). Hopefully he has properly saved and invested. Assuming he has, I'd imagine the offer to go overseas has to be pretty good to make it worth his while.
He will make good money over there, Mike Green has had a good career in Europe. Shelvin will be fine.
A quick read of this article would suggest he's going to pull in around a million and a half a year
Plus, he will get lots of playing time, which makes life more fun. Typically they also get lots of perks like a car and an apartment - assuming he takes his family with him, it's a good place for a family to be.
Damnnnn..that's way more than I'd have guessed, if that's the case.
Dang and he is going to live in Milano! What a lucky guy. Incredible place, food, lifestyle and he doesn’t have to worry about much of anything or having to put up with being a reserve in the NBA.
Although Shelving did make between 18-20 million, he was one of a few athletes that about 5-6 years ago had money taken from him by a less than desirable agent/business associate. I do believe though it was around the time when
He had only made around 5 million as the first 4 years he only made around $6 million and the other 12 million or so came in years 2015-2019.
That is true, I think he got "some of it" back after the court case, but it was a bad situation.
Looks like Shel is moving to Milan.
