Snowmageddon 2021 is about to happen in Indy. If it does, where should I take my 11-year-old son to experience some sledding?

+ points for being close to Plainfield.

The big one in Avon is “the hill” @ Washington Township Park. It’s nice!

Guess today is my day to contribute.

I grew up in Plainfield. I’d suggest the hill on the southwest side of the Middle School behind the practice football field. Right off Stafford Road.

Not sure if there has been development, but Hobbs hill on the backside of Van Buren Elementary was also good. Masten St is where you’d park at the top of the hill.

    Two side notes:

Plainfield Middle School used to be the High School.

I broke my leg sledding on that hill my freshman year in High School during basketball season. Dad was not too happy as I was having a good season...
