Im re-watching justified on Hulu. Into season 3. Loved how each episode had its specific “case” but still with the overarching plot points bringing him back to Harlan.

It's such an amazing series and just masterfully done. I'm fired up for the new mini series coming out.

This is the kind of fringe Top 100 recruit we can and should be landing. Big fan of this offer. Hopefully we can get this wrapped up before more schools come calling.

*EDIT. Looks like the 247 ranking in the second post was wrong. I still dig it. Look who has offered this summer: Seton Hall, Saint Louis, VCU, Stanford, Dayton. Those are quality programs. Staff ahead of the curve here IMO*

 

Not rated 88. 88 is his 247 score. It appears he’s not ranked by 247 nationally, and he has no info on Rivals.

Rankings aren’t everything, but they’re reasonably predictive, and more importantly I don’t like what this suggests about how 2024 is shaping up.

 

It seems the staff is really only targeting a few players for 2024. Sniper rifle vs shotgun approach? I think the staff knows they can navigate the portal well enough and the foreign market. So why not really try and dial in on what they want in a HS recruit?

They just made Sundra's top 5. I think Miami is probably the favorite for him, and if we don't land him they'll punt HS at that position. It is clear based on this offer as well as the other ones in the 2024 forum, the staff wants a HS wing.

 

I'm beginning to share your concern about our recruiting. Right or wrong, I've found myself placing a lot of emphasis on Garrett's recruitment to either alleviate this concern or really heighten it. We can't make a living just going where no one else goes. We have to be able to win some battles that other high majors really want.

I think he looks solid. I don't think he's going to be the one to highlight a class. Lack of foot speed may be an issue at Big East level (he looks fluid, but not overly quick to me?), but if he's a good shooter, it can help compensate for some of it.

 

It's interesting that the 88 score goes from #115 to outside 247's top 150.

Agree he isn’t quick in this video but this was when he was under the age of 16.

 

He reminds me of Miller Kopp with the way he’s built and the way he moves.
