Not disagreeing per se however South Carolina = SEC and a recent Final 4. And it’s an awesome location to attend college. SLU = reputable/respected hoops history, better recent showings, solid A10 conference, outstanding academics.

SLU's arena seems like a good game day experience even though I've never been there. It was loud & rowdy af when BU played them.

Not to be a debbie downer but there is an argument to be made that most of the schools on his list are actually more invested in competing in the current CBB landscape than Butler is.

Strange take with a beatable list.

    Dayton
    SLU
    South Carolina
    Stanford
    Richmond
    WKU
    Butler
    Seton Hall

If he wants to play in a major conference that list is halved. An he hasn't taken an OV to Stanford and doesn't have one scheduled. So down to Butler, South Carolina, and Seton Hall in that respect.

It’s a joke based on what tends to happen when we’re included in “Top X” edits.

Pretty sure we have a roster of 13 that included us in their top x list. I get your point, but we will land one of these kids before long. Don’t give up!

Believe he’s visited this week (yesterday?) anyone able to confirm? And if so, any talk on how it went?

Never too late to go donate to AGD and post your receipt to the 2nd round thread

While I agree with the sentiment, if they do not have six-figure donors or partner organizations, individual contributions from alumni and fans of such a small school will be meaningless in the end.

Wish this had a different ending. Not sure why he’s playing with our hearts on social though—ugh.

Turns out this was right. Always a bridesmaid, never a bride. Glad we can continue to make Top 8s. Looking forward to maybe even a Top 5 soon!

Would you feel the types of donors you noted would be more or less inclined to step in and contribute if we had a fan base that is engaged (large percentage contributing something) or with a fan base that is not engaged (large percentage resigned from supporting the program and becoming apathetic). It's possible the sentiment of an engaged fan base, supporting in a large %, could do more to spur larger donors and have a bigger impact than the actual dollars given themselves. Momentum has to come from somewhere. This is a fringe top 150 3* guy...

So just curious is it on a public media somewhere that BU has been eliminated. I don’t doubt that we are out just wondering source.

Until we can consistently have 1.3 mill a year to divide for NIL I don’t see us winning many if any of these battles. Assume you need to show recruits that $50k is low $ amount and if you are a truly prized recruit that we can get NIL more in 6 figure range. I don’t like this but it is reality of today
