The flip side to that is James Crepea of The Oregonian, who moved Butler UP a spot this week to #5 after having them at #6 last week. That could well be a candidate for a Poll Attack from Parrish.

Or maybe he actually watched the DePaul game and didn’t see a ranked team. The final score was no where indicative of how bad the game actually was.

Wow. There is just no way in hell to justify that. No way. That team? Those hapless victims of The Maul at DePaul? That Butler team he moves up to #5 in the nation? Whisky Tango Foxtrot?

A fantastic article. The gang over at The Athletic does great work. Just wish Dustin would skip the articles he has to write at the other two schools on his beat and do more for Butler!

AP Poll is a joke but it's still good exposure. Win the next two and we are back in a solid position.

Dropped from 12 to 17 in the Coaches Poll this week. Hall at 9, Nova at 10.

I don't understand how losing to a top 10 school at their place and beating a very good Marquette team warrants a 5 position drop.

Latest projection. God I would love this. Butler would get potentially: Akron, Iowa, SDSU and either Dayton or L’Ville to get to the final four.

Iowa is always an under performer - I'd pick ETSU in that matchup. PLEASE make this the bracket. I'd take it today.

I've watched ETSU some this year. Forbes has always been one of my favorite coaches. They beat LSU at LSU and have been impressive since. They'd definitely give Iowa problems.

I'd take a 4 gladly if it laid out like that.

Matching Butler with Akron is something the NCAA Committee would do since Groce has a big connection to Butler and all. They’re a pretty solid team too, so that would be tough first round matchup. Otherwise like that path. (Outside of possibly Iowa)
