Just poking around the MBB website and noticed the roster has some updates. Looks like the some of the generous height listings were done away with. A number of guys shrunk an inch.

Aldridge down to 6-0, down in weight to 180 from 187.
Butcher down to 6-6, but up in weight to 223.
Fromm down to 6-8, still 220.
Jones still at 6-4, but listed at 222lbs. Beefy.:exclamation:
Kampen down to 6-8 and finally over 200lbs!!!
Marshall down to a more accurate 6-6.
    Stigall down to 6-3.
Woods down to 6-8, up to 191lbs.

I guess they did away with the shoes for the measurements. I'm all for accurate listings of height.

Probably not entirely. It's more likely that the new measurements don't have the round-up that they did previously. Mack, for example, measured 6'1" barefoot at the draft combine. Add your typical 1.5" for shoes and that's 6'2.5", but he was listed at 6'3". Hayward measured 6'6.75" barefoot, but was 6'9" on the roster. Pretty generous even at 6'8.25" in shoes.

It was kind of funny when we played Green Bay last and their frosh forward Daniel Turner, listed at 6'6", was every bit as tall as Matt Howard.

Well, I know someone who hasn't measured less than 6'8 1/4-1/2 at any office exam in bare ft the last few years and is always 6'9" in shoes. I wonder why the disparity across the board. I also know people who have stood head to head with Kobe B. and swear he is no taller than 6'5". Interesting. It matters little, really. Of course, who wouldn't want the Dirk N's height; he also has the skill set of almost every player/position on the court! [hr]

I know Daniel Turner and he's 6'6", no question. I think Matt is definitely taller. Perspective is a funny thing when they're on the court.
