I can't tell what you're trying to say...teenager and 19 year-old are both right, and who cares how old she is? It's awful regardless of age
The victim's youth compounds the awfulness. I realize that wasn't initially clear, but that's what I was getting at.
Agreed it is never a good thing. But "teenager" as a headline sounds more appalling and people are more apt to click.
