One of Matta's remarks reminds me of what Hinkle used to say when he did color commentary for the telecasts of high school state tournament games in the 1960s, working with Tom Carnegie. He became famous for proclaiming, "The team that wins the game is the one that puts the ball in the basket the most times." Sent from my SM-N950U using Butler Hoops mobile app
You know, this Thad Matta fella has some real nerve not giving us anything to complain about all summer. Doesn’t he know that is our primary go to? Now we have to actually spend our spare time on actual productive things. What a nightmare. Sent from my iPhone using Butler Hoops mobile app
I've noticed that certain 24/7 every fifteen minute posters including those at 3 and 4 in the morning must now have a life or died from extremely low blood pressure.
The non-conference schedule will start trickling out in the next few weeks. I'm sure that will stir the pot one way or another. Sent from my SM-G998U using Tapatalk
Careful. There’s still plenty to discuss and complain about: volatile markets, looming recession, insane inflation, stripping women’s rights, war, gas prices, there’s still a pandemic with cases seemingly on the rise. And I’m in Philly airport right now, flying home thru Atlanta. Which puts me in close proximity to Willis. Lots wrong today. Willis if we miss our flight I might need a place to stay tonight. Drinks on me.
Lol you realize people live in different time zones, right? The Site is already fast by an hour, so 3am to you is 11pm to me and Znelson in MT. Danville it’s 10pm if he’s in Cali like I think (Crash is). Sigh.
It's 12:25 PM here right now! Getting ready to watch Bucks-Celtics game 7 ... should be a good one. Have a great day!!!
We are grilling out Korean BBQ short ribs. Delicious! Sent from my iPhone using Butler Hoops mobile app
Nothing new or earth shattering, but really nailing down the recruits of PBS viewers in-state. We'll see how it pays off.
Thanks, but we made our flight. Lucky you as well. My fiancé wasn’t feeling well last night and this am tested positive for COVID. Sigh. I haven’t taken a test but likely have it too. Have a very very mild sore throat but otherwise feel fine. She feels like poo.
I'm pretty sure that Willis and I are immune to Covid. Anyone who has spent any time in Dolan's will automatically get immunity to several diseases... Sorry to hear about the Covid PSU...hope you and your lady friend feel better soon.
Ewww, that sucks. Sorry dude. Hopefully if you get it, it's mild and she can pop back quickly. My GF has been heavy headed the last couple of days and I've had the same thought but she seems better today. Shrug.
This is true, and we got double vaxxed at that dump hole in Smyrna or wherever that was last year. Both of those places are gems although only one had me falling in love. Seriously though, I do think dive bars are the best thing for one's immunity.
Mine started as a sore throat too, plus headache. You’ll no doubt be just fine no matter but it’s a big disruption. Heal fast! Sent from my iPhone using Butler Hoops mobile app
Hope you and the fiancée feel better soon. There is a nasty flu bug going around as well; I had that a couple weeks ago and feel like it hit me harder than when I had Covid last fall/winter, although the headache I had with Covid was no freaking joke. Sent from my SM-G998U using Tapatalk
Clearly you need to spend more time on the NJ Transit or NYC Subway. Pre-COVID I didn’t get sick for like 5 years because I’m pretty sure I was immune to everything, even **** we don’t even know exists.
