And vocalist. Sang the National Anthem before the IHSAA championship game, then beats Gary West by 17.

Gregg Doyel was at Hinkle writing a story about Jesse Owens and the Butler Relays.

Correct me if I am wrong, but, I thought that Chrabascz was Mr. Basketball out of Rhode Island.

Barry has decided to bronze the water fountain that X ripped off the wall after the clock controversy game we won. It will peacefully reside in Hinkle's south end trophy case.

That was a very important event historically for the sport, Butler and of course Jesse Owens. Glad Doyle is writing an article.

All that I have been able to find is that Bonzie Colson was the Gatorade State High School POY.

I don't believe he was. Colson was. Holding out for Myles though - he could be giving BU 3 Mr. "B"s

It’s a nothing burger in that he had nothing “breaking” that the fine posters on this board didn’t find out at probably the same time.

It would be unusual for him to be Mr. Basketball in Rhode Island since, although he was from Portsmouth, R.I., he went to high school at Cushing Academy in Massachusetts.

That and Rhode Island doesn't have a Mr. Basketball award.

The state is so small I think they only play half court basketball.

Are you saying 3 Messrs. Basketball next year? Scooby is Michigan's. Myles Tate is very likely to be South Carolina's, but that won't be announced for another week or two. The Charlotte Observer almost always announces the winner in early to mid April. Who is the third? New York's is out and Myles Wilmouth didn't win. D.C. doesn't have one, and I don't see Coles winning Texas.

    What am I missing?

Wilmoth is RI and like someone said they don't really do a Mr Basketball award, no doubt if they did he would be a front runner

Gotcha. Yeah, Rhode Island doesn't have one. Wilmoth is listed as from New York on several sites and I forgot he was in Rhode Island to finish up.

We were in the same First Aid and Safety Class. To give an idea of how much Butler Basketball has changed Theofanis taught the class. I think I got a B. Don't know what grade Phil Cox got.
