Forget the books, encyclopedias, and dictionaries...U gotta live down here to get it. Many times I can’t understand the native South Carolinians (white or black), especially the ones that live along the coast. It’s a mixture of English, French, Spanish, and West African languages all rolled into one. The call it Gullah. It’s a beautiful language that originated during colonial times but has since permeated the south. Just like Creole in Louisiana. Perhaps the original mashup in North America?

I am on the south side, and like 450 North quite a bit. I don't understand the slushy beer trend anyway. I was in there last week with the wife, and they only had 4 non-slushy beers on tap, and two were triple IPAs. They were a better product when they offered good examples of several standard styles of beer. The stuff with the ABV's on the slushies is pretty shady too, given the marketing and pricing.

I laughed at the original suggestion from "fan." Tito's is on every shelf in every grocery and big-box store in America. Might as well be asking if we've tried Stoli.

I've run up quite the tab at The Crunkleton in Chapel Hill on a few different occasions. Great place. I haven't been to the one in Charlotte.

I'm more of a Rye guy but do enjoy the occasional bourbon and typically keep a bottle of Woodford around.

Agreed. Central State is probably pound-for-pound the best brewery in Indianapolis. "Garden" is one of the more refreshing beers I've ever had, especially in hot weather.

Jack Daniel's Fire & Diet. Warm buzz on a cold night.

Yuengling Golden followed by a bottle of red wine. No selection Sunday makes me sad

BU passes out White Claw samples at the games. So the other night while fishing for bass a friend in my boat offered me one. I ended up drinking 3 and actually got a noticeable buzz. He said they are 5.0. I had no idea. Nearly too much for a lightweight like myself.

Just had 14 beers, 8 of which were white claw equivalents, out on Dale Hollow Lake. Best place to social distance? On a boat, outside, with just the fam.

Relying on a couple of bottles of Altos Anejo to get through the next nine days. Haven’t found a smoother sipping tequila for the price.

How does it compare to Cazadores?

I like Cazadores, but this seems much smoother for similar price. Hadn’t made the jump to the anejo until recently, and find it worth the extra $. But do some price checking.

Anejo or resposado are my preferred tequilas. I’ll have to check out Altos.

After dinner last night I enjoyed a tumbler of Donald Jr.’s tears with a twist of lime and splash of 7Up. Bitter but satisfying.
