Xavier Booker - 2023 Center

Saw Booker at an open gym recently. No idea if BU has interest but he moves really well for a big guy.

 

Another lefty big ! He has plenty of time to grow too!

 

Hopefully BU is continuing to scout/recruit Xavier Booker, Cathedral's 6'10" sophomore.

 

Has there been any sign of us being interested in Xavier Booker, 2023 out of Cathedral? Seems like he's been racking up tons of good offers lately. IU, Louisville, ND, OSU, Iowa, among others.

 

Booker is one of the worst kept secrets in Indy. Have to wonder if there is a reciprocal interest?

 

His name excludes him. /s

We offered Xavier Booker today I see. Hell of an offer list.

 

Not a fan of this offer, not because of lack of talent......but because of his first name. LOL

 

Just hope it's not too late

 

Booker remains raw, yet still has some skills, but you can't teach that kind of size and length. Probably beyond BU's reach at this point. No shame in trying though.

 

I will remember this post when he commits elsewhere and it's more fuel for the fire among the Fire LaVall crowd.

 

Curious timing. You wonder if there's any real traction throwing your hat into a ring that includes Purdue and IU. I'd like to think this isn't a "just for grins" offer and there's something there.

 

It would be absurd to think that LJ was not aware of Booker long ago. This offer simply follows the more traditional timeline for most BU recruits.

 

I think when Ragland was hired there was some hype and praise from the Cathedral program so that might be helpful here.

 

If he comes here, he is only to be known as Booker.
