Does anyone know the main UM assistant who was recruiting Zeb?

Pass. I’d be surprised if the staff reaches out.

    From the Detroit News:

Jackson told WTVG 13abc the main reason he picked picked Michigan over his other six finalists — Michigan State, Purdue, Ohio State, Marquette, Butler and Arizona State — was because of his relationship with coach John Beilein and the rest of his staff.

"Their assistant coach, Coach Dre (DeAndre Haynes), that was the first coach I met in my recruitment when he was at Toledo and I was in like eighth grade," Jackson said. "Every time I’m there, it feels like home."

I’m all for a drama free team, and Zeb’s dad seems like he could be problematic.

We hear these types of things all the time and it rarely becomes anything (see Rotnei Clarke for a BU example). The players aren’t their parents. If there are concerns about his character then sure, but I’ve never heard anything like that. And honestly, the kid is so good he’s not going to have any issues getting on the floor at Butler anyway.

Michigan will name a new coach in the next couple of days. It'll be interesting to monitor this one. I do wonder if Butler has much of a chance though (assuming he opens his recruitment). Whatever reservations his parents had about Butler before will still be there, and now there's a 2020 PG already committed.

True, but he is a true combo guard. And plus I think his skill set is slightly different than Harris and is probably further ahead of Harris at this point on the offensive side at least. If he grows another inch or so he could slide in to the occasional 3 for a few minutes.

Will Howard be able to keep Jackson?

Title actually thinks Zeb could flip for Butler. That would be nice.

Zeb’s uncle, Zavier’s dad, seems really supportive of Howard. Of course that might be irrelevant to Zeb. Just an observation.
