Saturday afternoon games are my favorite. The energy is always there and the Sun shines through the windows on to the court/stands. Good game to go to. Just need that W!
It's too bad he has to come up from Florida when we're having record low temperatures. Great to see LJ and Co. getting 4-star recruits in for big games this early into their coaching tenure at Butler.
During the 2009-2010 season, Khyle Marshall came up to see a few games in January and spent the weekend couch surfing since the program couldn't house him (he was still in high school and had already signed; I forget the reasoning). He stayed with us one night and literally didn't bring anything but T shirts. I'll never forget the image of him whole-body shivering with his arms inside his big white T shirt outside the Golden Corral on W 38th street. I think we stopped at Steve and Barrys to get him a sweatshirt on the way back to campus. I doubt he had ever seen a winter outside the south before then.

Someone please shed some light on this. Hopefully there’s some mention of Butler here. I have seen Missouri and Cuonzo Martin have been gaining traction. Sent from my iPhone using Butler Hoops mobile app
Mentions he's trying not to think about the recruitment process too much right now and he's just letting things come to him. Says he is visiting Georgia Tech on the 11th and may try to visit Virginia Tech and FSU with it being in town. Not a whole lot there otherwise, mainly an article by a Georgia Tech writer focusing on Georgia Tech's recruitment of him.
Was doing some digging and found that Nwokeji’s dad Kennedy is on Twitter and is very engaged with Butler basketball stuff. It seems like we really have a good shot here. This kid is going to be good. Sent from my iPhone using Butler Hoops mobile app
I thought so too but then digged deeper and saw that he was liking just as much other school material as butler. But still, doesn’t hurt us! Sent from my iPhone using Butler Hoops
